Superintendent Keith G. Nation leads by precept and example. He is best portrayed as a peaceful man of integrity. Innovative, compassionate and dedicated to serving God's people. He is an anointed preacher, gifted teacher, effective counselor, and an encourager who is faithful and loyal.
In February 1980, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and subsequently received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He answered the call to ministry in 1987. In January 1990, he was appointed interim pastor under the auspices of the Church of God in Christ, in the Republic of Panama.
Once ordanined in July 1992 and after prayerful consideration of the greater calling on his life, the Victory Worship Center C.O.G.I.C. in the city of Stockbridge, Georgia was established in August 1998. As a visionary, he sheperds VWC with Godly wisdom transforming lives and empowering them with the tools to live a victorious life.
Together with his wife of more than 34 years, Regional Missionary, Lady Angela J. Nation, they prayerfully lead in love and oneness the people God has entrusted in their care. Supt and Lady Nation have been blessed with two sons, Minister Gregory Keith Nation and Garren Anthony Nation. They celebrate family as it grows to include the joy of grandchildren.
Supt. Nation is a retired veteran after honorably serving his country in the United States Army for more than twenty years. During his travels throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and South America, he served faithfully in many capacities of leadership with local churches. At Southern Georgia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, he presently serves as Leadership Development Trainer and Jurisdictional Sunday School Superintendent. In January 2010, he was appointed District Superintendent, establishing the Strong Tower District. In March 2012, he was elevated to Northern Region Superintendent. In addition, he was also elevated as an Administrative Assistant to the Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop John Wayne Leggett.
Academically, he has achieved an Associate degree from Central Texas College, a Bachelor degree from the University of Central Texas, and a Master of Arts in Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.
